Recent Selected Experience

HPP Shpilje Generator testing

Client:  ESM - Debar Distribution Company
The assignment included measuring of resistance, losses, overheating, and testing the utilization factor of Generator Nr. 2 - S 4705-20.  The capacity of the generator at HPP Shpilje was 31.5 MVA at 10.5 kV.  The testing provided further recommendations to HPP Shiplje for improving the efficiency and necessary actions to be taken on the generating unit.

Power System Improvement Project for Rehabilitation of HPPs in Macedonia

Client: Emerson Process Management Power and Water Solutions; Beneficiary: Electric Power Company of Macedonia (ESM).
Timel contracted with Emerson Process Management Power and Water Solutions to implement the project for Supply and Installation of Plant and Equipment for the Rehabilitation of Control System, Protection and LV auxiliaries for HPPs in Macedonia.  The project covered four largest hydro power plants in Macedonia: Vrutok, Vrben, Raven, and Globocica. Timel carried out the initial planning, preliminary feasibility study, master plan, construction and commissioning.  The project was financed by the World Bank.
